So, im gonna de-tounge this x572 before I meet up with Ron and the guys in a couple weeks here and see how that works. The engine sure reved higher, I could here that in the tone for sure. Plus, it's a stock Zen, so im not expecting it to develop gobs of juice, im just shooting for 40MPH or a little better maybe.
(with the x572) it was was like, the more WOT I held, just as it seemed at top speed, the boat started to pick up and rev.then I had to let a bigger pond I think. We where at a pretty small pond, so I really could'nt stretch it's legs much, but the engine seemed to pick up speed just as I would have to let off some for a turn. the engine does NOT rev as high as with the x572 prop. I ran my worked x572 prop first, and the most. Everything has loctite on it, all screws where good from the factory. No clutch issues, I really have'nt touched anything. I took it easy at first, but after about 10 minutes of partial throttle, I started to hammer on it. Had a great time! I ran about 1 1/2 tanks of fuel through the engine. Well, Msdarla and I ran my BJ55 for the first time yesterday.
